Signatures and Avatars; Rules of Conduct
It has come to our attention that there is obvious disruption in this thread when it comes to proper criticism. We are here to make sure that we can keep a peaceful atmosphere, since it seems that certain members may be taking 'Constructive Criticism' a little far. Here are some rules we decided to lay out in order to ensure a healthy future for our forums.
While all members are entitled to their opinions, It is important to deem whether or not someone may find it offensive, as always.
Art may be seen as a very touchy topic as it's criticism can just as easily offend someone as much as it would be accepted from a person. It is not easy to tell a persons feelings on such thoughts, there for voicing your opinion should be considered in the utmost neutrality as possible when giving criticism.
Words; I think, I believe, or In my opinion are the most important of all things to put down. Your opinion is not a rule, therefore cannot be considered fact. So to fully gain a person's attention on your thoughts, and to keep it neutral, These words must always be considered before starting a sentence.
Statements such as "This is bad", "Stupid", or any other comments along the same lines will not be tolerated at all. Once again your opinion is not set in stone and therefore saying such will only ignite an argument amongst the topic.
Be sure to use best judgment before posting what you feel, Any changes in opinions are always welcome as well.
If the topic poster requests for positive comments only (Which is perfectly acceptable), then any comments considered negative can be seen as offensive. So please also be sure to read the main post before replying.
Remember everyone! Just try to have fun, there is no tension and art is supposed to be a fluid thing. Let's all do our best to show how creative we are; whether the picture was found or created. If anyone has concerns or problems, there is always a Moderator willing to help you out!
Thanks for your time,
Falsetto
