IF people ever wisened up to the fact that the economy and more has a central focal point in Dunbarton and permanently moved their shops to there, they would have to stop using channel 1 as "the market channel" because for me Dunbarton contains enough lag with morons feeling the need to line up like a bunch of roosters in front of Eavan. If as many shops that are in TC now all crammed into one channel it would be even worse. People really need to get the cram mentality out of their heads anyways. I can barely walk around next to the bank to even SEE a shop without losing hundreds upon thousands of frames in the process, and regardless, no one sells anything good or at good prices on channel1 anyways, all the best shops are always found on other channels.
I really think it's a bit much to expect for people to get out of newbietown permanently, especially on Ruairi where the playerbase is primarily composed of idiots who run around with their heads cut off and the "sly foxes" who are looking to make some quick gold off of them. For now, just be thankful that not everyone is caught up in the retard cycle and actually do have their shops open in Dunbarton always, though not all of them are up to speed on pricing things unfortunately. But, if and when shops migrate (G4 at the latest...) they'll have to come back down to Earth on those twice as high prices, so while I obviously think people should have moved to DB in the first place, I don't think it will be very likely to be able to persuade the rip-off artists of the Ciar spammers to follow suit.
In any case, it will take a lot more than a forum event to make it happen...like say the bulk of newbie players graduating from "get rich quick" Ciar to where the real money is at.
