Well, I've been a member of a different (Mabi-unrelated) Wiki for a while, and I know some ways to get MabiWiki a bit more organized and a lot cleaner. Here is the list:
- Delete unneeded pages.
I've created a template that can be put on any page which needs to be deleted, so that sysops can check the category every now and then and delete all the pages. I mean, there's an article called "Fireball Page 10" and one called "Fireball page 10," where the only difference is the capitalization.
Please go to Category:Candidates for deletion for all the pages that needs to be deleted.
- Merge similar articles into one.
Going on to the Fireball pages, instead of making separate ones, we can make a page titled "Fireball," add the information about the skills, how to obtain, etc., and then make a list of the pages and where you can find them.
- Categorize every page.
This is the key to organization. Even if nobody checks the categories, it's a much faster way to navigate through things and fix up other pages accordingly.
- Redirects.
Instead of creating pages just for putting "See Cooking," you could just do "#REDIRECT Cooking" (with the double brackets to link) so it automatically goes onwards to that article instead of having the person click another link and wait for it to load.
