How do you find your way around, though? It looks pretty hard, since you have to find those orb-ish things so you don't miss any. Are there markings on the map?

I is lieking the dual wield too.
There are several different TYPEs of play with all the different missions.
You can pick up missions from a board that gives it to you for a small fee.

The mobs in basic level are all wuss bags, even my pets can tank them. But they give around 150 exp!

Even the boss was a wussbag. The only thing I had to watch out for was his health drain, you can't hit him while he uses it, and your hp goes to 0 when you get drained.

But when you get up to intermediate level... well, thats somewhat closer to my level. Me and 5 other people did defend the village, spreading 2 players to each opening, and adding 2 human guards to the bottom, 2 elven guards to the left, and 2 giant guards to the right....

After the 6th attempt, we decided that by the time its around the 14th wave, we just can't stop it.

If only the NPC guards had some potions to heal themselves with.
