My favorite combat pet is the mini bear (for now anyways). Panda is based on mini bear, just diferent 3D model, and mini bear is a bit cheaper. With the new AI programing feature enabled, they're pretty awesome.
For storage i like the orange cat, i think there's other pets with the same space and similar price, but orange cat is the first one i got, it's pretty decent at combat too.
