Hey guys, Kitae here with a brand new event to give YOU all a chance at winning some GURU GOLD.

CHEESE ROLLING EVENT

to celebrate... well, I'm not sure.

Entry Fee: 100 Guru Gold

Grand Prize: 2000 Guru Gold

Minor Prize: 500 Guru Gold (3 Runner Ups)

Event rules are very simple. One entry per person. You find a very nice hill in the game, and plop down a "Big Lump of Cheese" on the ground.

Take a snapshot of yourself, the hill, and the cheese. The better the snapshot, the better chances you have at winning. The pictures will be judged on content AND quality. I will NOT be the only judge.

How to enter:
After you have taken a snapshot, send it to me through a PM. Note that imageshack links do not work for me.

Head to http://www.mabiguru.com/forums/credits.php?do=manage and type in kitaek27 in the Recipient box. Enter "Cheese Rolling" in the Comment box. Enter 100 in the Amount box.

I will accept the pm to be legitimate ONLY ONCE I HAVE RECEIVED THE GOLD.

Not sure what "Cheese Rolling" is? Its a European event where a cheese is rolled down a hill and people chase after it.

Kita exactly how is this contest suppose to be done on Mabinogi seeing as how chesse does not roll down hill in the game well not that I am aware of that is and judging from your descriptions on the rules and how to win it doesn't seem like there much point to this event also what are you and the other judges judging on when you mean by content and quality: the person,their clothing, and surroudings or something else?

Its really a lottery with cheese involved.

Theres really no skill or rolling involved. Just a way to get someone to have some money by the end. But if you have basic photography knowledge, then you should be able to find a good hill, a good angle, and make a good snapshot, which ups your chances at winning.

I forgot to mention, but as soon as I get back to the US, I'm going to donate a few BLEACH figures to the site so it can be sold to members for guru gold.

You should show an example picture because I believe most of the guruers will be confused and ask themselves, "How are we supposed to do this, cheese can't be rolled, let alone down a hill"

Maybe the instructions weren't clear enough.
What I want to see if a picture of a hill.
With a person on it.
With cheese on the ground.

How the heck will anyone know if the cheese is rolling or not if its a motionless picture?

Maybe if you can manage to drop it as you take the snapshot you can get a snapshot of it in midair or as it flips around.

...that video looks more like Person Rolling than Cheese Rolling.

Anyhow, I submitted my picture, which seemed the best out of all of them. However, you have the pleasure of taking a look at the other photos I took, which I did not submit.





It's pretty hard to find a hill in Ulaid, and even then, it's hard to show the fact that the lump of cheese is on a hill. It is still hard to see the hill in the one I submitted, but I think it's clear enough. Whooo~
