Soul Eater is definitely one of the better anime this season along with Macross Frontier and Code Geass... Superb fighting animations, AND I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH OF DEATH-SAMA!

And episode 3... Kid didnt dodge the punch like he did in the manga... WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT BONESS???

And personally, I find nothing wrong with Maka's newbie voice actor (maybe cuz I don't really listen to the speech and I read the sub)

i like Maka's voice, its unique compared from all the other female characters.

i find the anime itself moving quite fast. Good thing theres 52 episodes? 2 season im guessing.. with 2 or 4 opening if its like SnSII

One more thing i noticed is, a lot less fan service compared with the Manga, its not bad but i dont really like animes that stray to far from the manga.... requires me to watch/read both -.-

anyways, episode 4 is out subbed by tadashi, though ill redownload a different subber once its out.

no images until a non-MP4 formated version comes out, rather not waste my time changing file types manually although it'd only take like 1min

I just started watching this anime (I'm at episode 3 at the moment). After watching the second episode, I started do wonder about if it is the same studio that made Toppan Tengen Gurren Lagann, or am I wrong?

The anime and manga artwork is quite different especially Maka. Less fanservice in the Anime as well.

the anime style is still a bit unique
I heard of this story when I started to read the manga a while back.
a pretty demonic background
every little thing is draw in there are very detailedly portrait
is seem so the animator of this series like to play with the camera angle alot.
give it alot of cool affect (not easy to draw tho)
it is certainly a anime piece you shouldn't miss easily.

Mmm....The animation is really good but I really don't like Maka's voice. Her voice acting sounds almost lifeless and sometimes the voice doesn't match the facial expression. I guess it's to be expected since she is completely new at voice acting. So far, the series seems to be okay. Nothing amazing yet but hopefully that'll change >_<

I saw alot of review on the voice actress particularly on Maka
seem like not alot of people like her voice. :P

I dunno, I love her voice, remind me of alot of female role in many of Hayao Miyazaki's film

I will have to said her voice is really unique.
giving a very pure aura. kind of a message to tell the reader she still have alot to learn, don't you think??
