the bloodier the better i say. i love these types of anime along with Action and a little adveture/fantasy. im a girl yes but im not big on romance sorry. unless someone is getting killed in it too.

My main genres i watch are

-Comedy, show must have at least fun scenes every now and then.
-Shounen/Shojo, yes, i watch some shojo animes
-Supernatural, basically super powers ftw?
-Drama/Romance, not any hardcore stuff but it adds conflict
-Action, fighting.

One thing that I simply cannot stand about anime or manga, is fan service. I mean, sure, give us a panty shot or two, that's staple in anime. But when you're constantly shoving cleavage and face-crotch moments down my throat, I'm going to turn you OFF!!!

Other than that, I'm really into the cutesy stuff like Chobits (sans the fan soivice) and romantic non comedy types (like 5cm Per Second)

Hmm...for me, it would generally be Action/Adventure. A bit of romance is sweet if it's thrown in there, but I'm not big on romantic dramas (it's different for movies, though...I love romantic comedies). Cutesy stuff and girls with extremely high-pitched voices also aren't my cup of tea. I guess the main driving factors for me are a deep, meaningful storyline and complex, compelling characters. Oh and of course, beautiful artwork. I'm a graphics *****. XD

Lets see i like a little Comedy not to the point where i might as well go see a comedian and then well a little of Yuri, Ecchi, Harem, Action, Adventure, Sometimes i enjoy horror and supernatural and also i don't mind Romance as long as its not to mushy then it just becomes boring

Well where do I start?

I'm sort of into animes where a group of characters have their own stories and backgrounds, and how they influence each other and connect throughout the timeline. And I also like when they realize how close and bonded they are to each other, in turn making them stronger in the battlefield, and furthering their own stories in a better way.

But one kind of anime that I'm almost burned out of is the Heroin story. When a girl single handedly destroys evil or whatever. I mean I like it when a female realizes her power in battle, but not to an extent where she is the key to everything. And princesses? I like em around, but as long as they don't TRANSFORM in a way....I think the genre is a bit burnt out

However, one thing's for sure, if a female matches her male friends in power and resolve, like Hyuuga Hinata, then I am a happy happy puppy.

Therefore I can safely say that both sexes are EQUAL, one way or the other.
