Let's make a thread were people tell about their favorite anime and why (since listing up only names is just boring).

I guess I'll start.

I've got three favorite animes, that I can't decide which of them I live the best.

Mai-HiME
Awesome characters (Shizuru is in the anime, what more to say 8D?), but except that, I'm a bit unsure why I like this anime. Keep wanting to rewatch it over and over again <_<

The animation, sound, characters, everything is so well combined in this anime, plus that it got a lot of yuri :D
Lucky Star
Haven't seen anything more fun than this. Laughed all time when watching this anime. I want more episodes >:(

Do I even have to explain? Lmao I'm just kidding.

I must say this anime is the best I've seen for a very very long time.

I will just post a review about it. I feel the same way about the show and I do not have enough time to type everything I like about it.

My all time favorite is...

Hitman Reborn - even though its a long going series, i love the fight scenes and the comedy. Tsuna, the main character, is my all time favorite Male character.


random favorites right now are

D.Grayman - Similar to Reborn but i just really like Allen, he is teh awesomeness

Nabari o Ou - it may be ninjas, but its nothing like naruto, imo, its a fun show to watch and the blood is fun ^_^


Clannad -great series.... unlike Air and Kanon, it keeps allt he characters throughout the series and i cant wait for season 2.

Ouran Host High School Club - althouhg its a shojo, its one of my favorites, i dunno why, i guess i like gender bender animes/mangas.

i could name a lot more of my favs but i dont wana take up to much time.

I like both the manga series and the show series. The storyline is pretty good, on both, and I just like the things little jokes the characters make To people who know this anime well, Dandy is the best o.o Also funniest

DGrayman
What can I say here besides who doesn't like the classic good versus evil genre. Not to mention that the main character is a demonic card shark. Play poker with him at the risk of all your belongings. I guess Kanda's also funny too, in his own terrifying way.

Tsubasa Chronicles
It is only cause the storyline is good and I like Mokona. Also apparently into a suspenseful moment. The storyline tends to shift rapidly since they travel everywhere.

Digimon
Watched it since I was little and I watch some every once in a while.

Zoids
It was a great anime and lots of different characters, though the girls tend to be super strong and scary in the show o.o;

Higurashi
Though at first glance an anime for sick blood thirsting audience members, the mystery content and the put-it-together-yourself element mixed in with the surprisingly deep and complex storyline makes this anime one of my favorited.

Code Geass
It combines the best part of every anime and puts it all together in one perfected series!

DGrayman (manga only)
The world of the black and white... the 14th Noah... its all so... spine chilling. The grayscale manga shows unbelievable amounts of potential that the anime smeared over with an abuse of the blue/purple color.

FMA (manga only)
The anime was impressive, but you can tell that they were really pulling crap out of nowhere the last half of the series. The manga takes a separate route and makes the plot really interesting; quite possible more than before. The same can be said about Claymore.

My favorites are:

-One Piece
I like the storyline and the general structure of this anime. It's extremely creative regarding storyline and characters and it provides lots of comedy and action. I'm also into anime with that sort of 'organizational' feature to it, if you understand what I mean. There's also vast amounts of groups (Pirates, Navy, Government, ect.) making the One Piece world look extremely large and explorable. Each island is pretty unique too. What... no One Piece fans here? [p.s. also the ownages ]

-Bleach
I like this anime because of its overall storyline I guess. It's definitely entertaining to me and it shows much uniqueness for each character. The division between Hollows and Shinigami (Soul Reapers) and other groups such as the Quincy add a very interesting taste to this anime (Again, the organizations). A few other things that draw me in to watch this anime are some of the crazy characters in this show, such as Kenpachi, which also adds comedy and such to Bleach. I personally like how each character is unique from others regarding zanpakutos and the several unique powers of humans (Chad, Orihime, Uryu). Overall, I like this anime because of its creative and interesting storyline. [p.s. also add in the 'ownages' if you know what I mean ]

-Naruto
Well... maybe not so much into it now as I used to be. But anyways, I like this anime because interesting storyline, interesting characters, and the comedy that comes in here and there. Again, organizations (i.e. Hidden Leaf, Akatsuki, ect. [not that theres many animes without organizations and such.] ). I think that's about it on that. My favorite characters in Naruto would probably be Rock Lee and Neji. I guess that's it. Things I don't really like would be the whole 'Sasuke thing' (not gonna get into any details, I don't want to accidentally spoil anything for anyone.), Orochimaru always scares me, and well that's it. I never really like Sasuke anyways. Yep, that's it for that.

-Death Note
I recently began watching Death Note, and one thing I immediately noticed was all the logic involved in it. I really enjoy the logic involved in this show. Sometimes it forces me to think very hard to figure out the concept of all this. For those who don't know what Death Note is, it's basically about two opponents, Kira and L, using their logic and mind skills to outwit each other. Basically a long game of chess. Anyways, short and sweet, I love the logic. It's actually the first Anime/Manga that I've liked that doesn't involve direct combat.

Well.. in conclusion, those were the shows I watched, yeah I know, pretty long descriptions, but oh well, nothing I can do about it now. Oh, and if you have any questions regarding One Piece, Bleach, and maybe Naruto, you can ask me. I refer to myself as a guru for these animes/manga.. not to brag or anything.. sorry if I offended anyone.

Of course, Death Note was ruined by the fans, and all the other series are dragging on too much. Their age is over.
