I loved Claymore, up until the last five minutes of the last episode. I'm really hoping that there's going to be some followup series, because the ending was a total cliff-hanger...

I enjoyed the originality of the fact that they took characters whom were built up over quite a few episodes and then killed them off :o

Another series that I never hear onyone talk about is Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto. Quite the mouthful. A good Bakumatsu-era samurai series.


Not watching anything at the moment since Macross Frontier ended. Need something else to watch.

Claymore would... be considered violent. But nothing more.
It was upping on the violence department. There wasn't anything that meant to be a psychological/mysterious thrill at all.

I think you should start with Higurashi instead. Its one of my favorite animes, and its more plot driven than Lain is, so its not AS creepy. The art style is much livelier, and it even has several humor points to it. Plus a happy ending... at the last episode of the second season anyways. All the other endings in each 4 episode arc are "bad ends", with the last episode of the first season being a "not so bad but still everyone dies" ending. Some of the violent parts might be a bit much though. Well, you've seen claymore, so you SHOULD be okay with it.

Not only that, the ending was horrible! Left us all hanging like that.
And soooo many people died and were slaughtered.
Spoiler: [spoiler]Like when Clare's friend (umm, Teresa I believe) died. That suprised me... Though, I knew Teresa was going to die. Just the way she died was..just..really really sad...[/spoiler]
