How much would one cost anyways if you have a blacksmith doing it for free to gain exp provided you bring all the mats?

My estimate at materials cost for a r9 smith, which should hopefully need no more than 25 attempts at the worst, on a monday with r6 production, comes out to approx. 1.2 mil in materials. If you get a full party, it can cut that down a decent bit too, by increasing the amount it completes when successful by 1% per party member.

I don't plan to get one since i don't like how it looks too much, but always good to know O:

Since you cant go pass r6 weaving yet, finest straps success rate wont be above 85% or so. Due to failures from weaving youll need to buy about 15-25% more.

Finest prices are arguable, so we'll just say that you need at least 75 straps at 25 tries (this is not the worse case scenario). Thats also 250 ingots and 75 braids. The manual is also 150k+. Add in the siren mask and the material price is quite hefty.

Realistically, its all about luck. At r9 smithing and r6 production, success is only 31% on monday. Rain and party will help, but really, it will do nothing if you constantly get big failures. At that success rate big failures will be popping up everywhere. Progress will be slow and painful, but theres always those spikes of big success and big failures that will drastically alter the cost of the armor.

Edit: by the way, each party member needs blacksmith F or more to provide benefit. Also, its not 1% per party member, rather its +5% of the base progress. In this case, the base progress is 12% so each party member adds only 0.6%.

Hey sorry. I'm looking for the female version. I'd like to stress again that money isn't an issue. I'm looking for a final product price as I've decided I don't want to personally buy all the materials. o.o I realize this may add some risk to a potential smith, but if it's a responsible and trustworthy smith, I'd be willing to give you some money up front to help pay for some of the materials, say maybe 25% of final price or so.
