Not really. You have to put the eggs in the molds *right* after you boil them. A hot boiled egg is actually very very... I dunno.... Gelatin-like? Rubbery? It's certainly softer then one that's been cooled in ice water.
You have a higher chance of burning your hands with an egg right out of the hot water and trying to peel the shell off of a steaming egg then having the molds be really messy.
Although, I got around this by peeling the egg while it was submerged in lukewarm water.

Don't they?
Here's how the lunches look after they've been finished :P I took the pictures this time with my cell phone. The digital camera kinda died on me.
I made the rice into Onigiri again... I love making onigiri for some reason... I also cut out some stars from a fried egg to just add some embellishment on them. They were cut with a cookie cutter after I fried the egg XD;;
The Tamagoyaki, thankfully, turned out just fine... I was afraid that I'd screw up folding them (I have trouble with it sometimes) but it wasn't too bad.
I DID get my right hand burned frying the sausages/smokies. D= Stupid oil... My dad panicked when he saw me trying to nurse my hand with an ice pack this morning. Ugh. I probably won't be doing any extensive drawing today...
My friend is dang lucky I picked up her abandoned lunchbox >>;; I would never have done this otherwise... Typically I only cook food when I wanna try something new, making an "apology bento", if hte day is special, if someone forces me to (I've lost a bet where I was required to make a bento for someone) or when I'm really booorrreeeeddddd... and hungry.
