I think it will be good to see another intelligent moderator on the site and not just one that has post a lot. Actually, that they will do there jobs and not just add spam upon more spam to the site they are suppose to mod. I have seen this way to much in some fan sites for games as well as many anime forums that ends up failing due to this. I hope Itchy does some sort of trial period for moderators to see if they are up to the tasks that are given to them and will bring improvement to the community as a whole. Voting for a mod will be a good thing, but is up to itchy and staff to make the final decision.

Heh, a public election would be kind of neat to watch.
I don't think I've ever seen a public forum hold elections for moderators -- I've always seen it done as a private nomination/election held by those already with positions. I can't even imagine how a public election really would work xD

Whats the difference between a mod and a super mod? O_O
I mean, I'd like to go for mod, but super... mod?

Supermods can mod things all over the forum. Normal mods have similar powers, but only in specific forums (typically something related to their expertise).

I'm starting to regret not proofreading my application.
It was full of grammatical errors now that I go back and read it >>;;;;

Erm, if your qualified and you are chosen i dont think you few errors will make or break their decision.
