Like what Baku said, if you do "special" things, or act or say something that sets you apart from others, you'll get a title. I forget what Falsetto said, but I think she said that you need like 60 posts before you get a title. This however lead to some arguements over favoritism, so I wouldn't be surprised if Itchy impliments the ability for members to change their title at will, probably for the cost of some Guru Gold.

And I don't know what happened to your title Baku. I wish I could change it.

You have to earn them, a mod will give you one if they feel you deserve one.

There was a discussion on irc based on the those titles. Some people said favoritism, but it's kind of overrated since the title give aways are random
