Siren

I don't know why this Siren is stuck in my head, so I made an avatar and signature out of it. Because the sig consists of 3 images for quality and animation, I can't use it on these forums.
The signature adds up to 64.9 KB.
Don't complain that you can't keep up with my name.

really good, try saving it with less colors, not much, there wont be much quality loss, im sure you can make it fit here.

I took your advice and started from scratch again.
I don't like using one animated GIF because it doesn't support multiple colors and alpha transparency, and applying a transparency dither filter makes it look even uglier in some cases, and I don't like using PNGs only because it doesn't support animation, which is why I use both to maintain quality and design. Nevertheless, I made an animated GIF with transparency, but no transparency dither, on white. I'm gonna get one on black soon.

Prefer the first one, but they're both very nice. =)
Good job!

It has way too much negative space.
+ The smudge-work is actually visible. It's well-distinguished - not a good thing.
And too many overlappings on the stock itself. You have too much attention on your background, which I daresay, is nothing pretty and no attention whatsoever on your stock. The stock is your focal point, or rather, it should be.
What I suggest is you start from the beginning and try a different composition.
Take
HTML Code:

for example. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but it's simple and it has a nice composition to it. Yes it could use some work here and there, but you get the basic idea. It's crisp, simple, and not diluted like yours. It even shows some blending rather than yours, which has no blending and just appears that the stock has been slapped in the middle.
Perhaps I will create a tutorial that explains everything simply.
P.S. I am rather surprised that Bakuryu didn't mention borders.
For once, this sig could actually use one. Some things were meant to be enclosed.

I tried doing that on purpose to avoid borders.

Now that, I had a hard time working around with. But you're right.

Although you are right that I've been taking attention away from the stock image. I disagree on the focal point part.
In a general signature, just because you have one stock image doesn't mean it has to be the main point throughout the entire thing. I could put on stock image on the side and then put in a whole bunch of abstract and fractals to be the the focal point there.

I have been looking at that before I started making this sig, and have been thinking about it since then. But I suppose I haven't been thinking about what real blending is in this matter. It's just that I find simplicity overrated, and needed something compact. Guess it's overruled, huh?

Tried to avoid them in this matter, but I guess I failed. Damn!
Thanks for the advice, I'll take these into consideration in the future.

I love them both, it has a really nice feeling to it
And lol, I didn't notice the animation at first. Then I stopped and I saw the animated text
