Seeing as how we didnt have a graphics section, might as well use the siggy and avatar o.o

anyways, i wanted to make another siggy but the image i want to use is black and white and i wana color it. Im just wondering if anyone has any tips on shading/coloring with Photoshop? o.o?

well if its like manga black and white, theres alot of tutorials floating around the internet on how to properly color, and shade manga pages and pictures. =P

Try changing your brush effects and experiment with them, like changing them from "Normal" to something else like "hue" and "color."

Example on how to color Black and White:

To color a manga follow these steps
1) Make a new layer.
2) Switch that layer to multiply.
3) Add Color.

Example of Tone and Shading Methods:

For Tone & Shading using the dodge, burn, and sponge tool to do the area that needs to be highlighted.

Another method is to just use the brush tools and the different size of brushes varying with the airbrush if possible to create the desired tone. This is best done with a tablet.
