I think the term lower comes from the foreign versions. In NA Mabinogi you use a semi-rare scroll called "Basic Fomor [Dungeon Name] Scroll" (or something like that). Just like a Beginner scroll except that rather than much easier, it's much, much harder. Or that's the gist of it anyways.

I believe there are also even more difficult versions after that.

The only other problem I have is your small gem section. Nora and Caitin both sell quest scrolls to upgrade gems, and when you have 5 small silver it is 1.2k or 1200 you get from their quest scroll. Just selling the silver gems by themselves is a rip off.

Unless of course you somehow tabulated the costs of getting to 5 silver gems with small green gems buying the upgrade scrolls, in which case about 1000 may be right. *shrugs*

ah thats what i meant by the gems, i kinda zoomed through that part, ima add pics for that part later and il edit a bit later.

I remember seeing a rooster have a lucky finish on a redfox and drop about 500-600 gold once. I jacked the chicken hard earn cash after that. Sorry that I don't have a screenshot of it to show proof.

If you are feeling industrious, you can work part-time at a favored store.

After 50 and 100 times, you will recieve significantly more EXP and gold. There is usually also a no-exp option worth quite a bit of gold and an item that can be sold. When given a choice of these things, always take the option with the most gold, unless you see a reward item you want to own - getting it as reward will save overhead from getting gold and then buying that item.


That said.

Cut wool for Manus if you are running Rabbie or Math. He will hand over potions regularly, this is easy supply which leads to full pockets.

Good money - Weaving
If you gather spiderwebs, get your weaving rank up by spinning silk and wool, get huge batches of thin yarn built up, wait for a thunderstorm on a Monday, get a party of 8 together for crafting, then spin big batches of silk cloth from the thin yarn, you can make quite a bit. You want to do 10 batches at a time, to maximize the expensive silk glove you need, and do it during thunderstorms on a Monday in a pary of 8 with full stamina to push your chance of success as high as it goes. Consider eating a Dex-boosting food beforehand also, and have a good Dex title equipped.

Once you have the silk cloth, sell it to players, where it always seems to be in shortage.

Luck is the greatest stat ever
Since hitting 47 luck I've been getting about 1 huge lucky finish per hour (probably would be more if I did constant hunting). That's 7-9k bonus gold ontop of things like fomor scrolls and boss drops.

Why travel so far for one monster that MIGHT drop gold, when there are other monsters out there that easily drop over 200?

Huge Lucky has a strict limit. I doubt it goes over 30k.

I've known easy ways to get money, but this guide has really expanded my knowledge. Although, I suggest you provide a guide on soloing the small golem, even I have trouble killing it sometimes
