All too true.
I'll refrain from speaking the name of my own first guild, but with big guilds there is always a lot of drama. At the time I joined it, I didn't know a lot of people, so I thought, "Hey, this is a great way to know people." And it was. If you could find the few people you could get along with. However, if there were too many things going on in guild chat, and if people didn't like you or you weren't popular enough, you'd end up getting ignored. Half the time, this was the case for me and a number of other people. It was almost a competition for attention. I would find that small guilds consisting of close-knit friends (with leader you know who can pay for the service) might be a better option for anyone. Heh, good guidlines! I will definetly be keeping these in mind when I build my current guild right now. It's interesting, most of the guidelines you listed, I am already doing right now! It is like you read my mind! xD
I did learn one or two new things though! Very well done! This will help people! ![]() For those interested, my guild is in Tarlach, it is new and developing! We are currently looking for members who have some level of comitment to the game and those who strive to better themselves. I actually posted it here, check it out! xD [Tarlach] Visions Guild |
