UPDATE: I sent notification to ALL GUILD MEMBERS requesting that they get mabiguru accounts, so maybe this thread will get the dust blown off of it *sigh*. Why do people have to be so agonizingly difficult I ask myself

I just saw another guild that has a shop set up in dunbarton. I think it would be cool if we did something like that. You know where us guildies donate stuff we don't want anymore to the cause of the guild fund. Like I have 2 's mongo's long skirts with 2 def and +1 protection, and like 6 or 7 wizard's hats that I would be glad to donate to a guild store.

Not only could this fund our expansion, but it could also be used to buy like I unno raffle prizes or something, or maybe we could try to take over one of the housing areas eventually.

Well, as much as I'd LOVE to run a castle ^^...
From Wiki:

Then, there is a ridiculous amount of goods needed to build the actual castle.

And then, I think we only get to keep it like 8 weeks before it goes back up for bid again.

We'd have to wait to get a more united guild before we could ever get a castle sadly. T^T But, if we ever get enough cash/supplies/and willing peoples, that would rock!

I get that, but we could raise money to upgrade the guild instead of having you and kami pay for most of the guild upgrades. I think a guild store would really benefit us that way, and also we could help people on their quests to getting expensive items. Doing this could also get us more involved as a group as well... So its like a suggestion of how to fund the guild activities and stuff. so yeah...

Mkay. So, when I get enough people that agree to do a shop, we can open a shop forum on Mabiguru. I've seen some guilds, like Dango, keep one. It's also a good place to advertise about items you are currently seeking.

Working on weaving? Perhaps you'd like us to put up an add for cobwebs and wool. stuff like that. What do you guys think?

update: Right now, I've already put in ~45k gold into the guild bank to fund this next upgrade, so we're good until we get 10k more gp I think for the next upgrade. And, we'd need to pick out a treasurer if we open up a considerable sized store. Wanna volunteer Nitza? Or Malavekia?
Me and Kaminari99 are already leader, and officer, so let's free up the next "officer" position of treasurer to someone else.
