I would love to be a leader for some part. Also, we should have certain elections and such.
'Fcourse, Itchy, you're the Mod, so I don't mind. I'm not too rich in Mabinogi, but I do have NX Cash wads. A pile of unused cards saved, so I'm not worried. Approx. 70$ in this pile. My birthday was the eleventh.
So yeah. We should have:
Leader
War Chief
Orchestra Master (Tireku's my first guess. :P)
ArchMaster (Archers)
Etc.
So yeah. And, of course, with all the members, I'd doubt any problems.
A guild farm, a guild community, etc.
And so, I speak. Now it's up to you MabiGuru'ers to decide.

If you have one single person creating multiple guild, yes it will be expensive. Maintaining one guild by one person is not that expensive, so if we can vote several leader to create several it's not going to be that bad; but in long term it does burn a hole in your wallet.
One concern is, what happen when the guild master quit the game? Or when he/she decided not to buy Nexon cash? (Raid their house irl? heh just a suggestion, please don't consider it)
Is guild transferable? if not may be we can consider creating a dummy account to host a guild, that way if the owner decided to quit, we can vote someone else to take over the dummy account. That also depend on how hard it is to "level up" a guild, if its easy then someone else can just re-create.

I was never talking about one person creating multiple guilds.
And maintaining multiple guilds, allied together, even if run by different people and divided into factions according to their function is a big responsibility, not to mention oh-so-very-hectic. Not to rain on your parade, but perhaps you shouldn't cross your bridge until you come to it.

Don't worry too much =P May be if this is Lineage 2 or World of Warcraft, we have to care about territory war, castle siege, pvp, epic armor, etc.. then the responsibility will be too big for most people to handle.
Mabi guild just need one person willing pay for premium services every month, and have some gut to kick out all the trouble maker. The rest of the member in each sub guild will just relax, chat, and do whatever they like together.
That's why a simple vote is enough, as long as that person have a personality good enough to get vote, he/she will be able to recruit members with zero problem.
Guild in Mabinogi is nothing much but a social club, a group of people that seek simple way to communicate with each other and meet new people, and a way to filter out people they don't like.
So what if this multi-guild plan failed, we just regroup back here at mabiguru.com and think of a plan B.

Multi Guild alliances do work. For instance, KoM of MS. There were too many people to put into 1 guild so they split it into 3. We have people who are trustworthy enough to manage these guilds and everyone who's in the guild should vote for Jr's. If someone gets out of hand, the "president" should be able to demote them or something

Yeah, I agree with Sheapy. Another example would be Ohana of MS. We had ~10 guilds with trustworthy 'senators' to manage.
There's probably a lot more success stories about things like this.
An idea like this can succeed but personally I've never seen an official fansite guild.
