This question has been answered a few times now. The answer is yes you can do G1 when G2 comes out.

But that means less Mabinogi time, because of accursed thesis and class!
I hope they set up the pet prices soon. If they release pets right away.

To actually get paladin, its easier than G1's early stages. To finish G2 and get Osidian, that's a different story.

I'm pretty sure it would be G2, nothing else would really take that long, except adding more channels (either way i'd be happy). But i'm surprised there was no hype about it, like they did with g1.
