Archers dont have low int or mp, maybe 3 week chars do, but being weak is their forte so do they even count? Not in my opinion.

You can get them if you like but I don't recommend using something that isn't your focus.

The problem with advanced magic is that you'll need to switch to your weapon which drains all of your mana.

Most players who can afford adv. magic rebirth often, which means they'll lack mana points.

In addition, they add loads of CP and gets in the way of r1 wm / rm / ar

archers and warriors will have low mp unless they invest in magic mastery. they will also have low int, unless they rank music skills (and the basic bolts). You can rank those skills, of course, which would make you a mage AND raise your CP more, making it harder for you to train and rank other skills.

I recommended fireball as the adv. magic of choice for warriors/archers because you only need to cast it once, so switching to your weapon of choice would be no problem as the casting itself would most likely drain all your mana anyway.

Well Rikyu, you have 3 Advanced Magics.

Fireball: It's going to drain your mana, and you'll need pots.
  • Can't move while charging
  • Must be 5 charges
  • Quite a mana consumption
  • Will aggro anything that doesn't die for sure
  • Hugeass damage
  • Huge range
  • Bad for spamming

Ice Spear: It's good for spamming.
  • Chain casts meaning if one person gets hit, it goes onto the other.
  • Freeze effect allows for spammability
  • Good damage
  • As many charges as you'd like
  • Mana consumption
  • Hard page obtaining

Thunder: Very good in arena, aggro, dungeons with orbs hate this.
  • Mana cost is pretty large.
  • Immobile while charging
  • Limited targets for a certain level
  • 100% Guaranteed aggro
  • Highish damage depending on charges
  • Long range
  • At Rank 1, is godlier than anything
  • Allows for recharge during strike
  • High ranks = More time between first lightning bolt and thunder strike

I prefer thunder. HOWEVER, what sucks is from wand > Sword drains all your mana.
