Is it possible to do an "Area-Of-Effect" damage with magic? (i.e. hitting two or more monsters simultaneously.)

How does AOEing with lightning bolt work? So far, it's only focused on one monster.

Lightning needs more charges for a larger AOE, and does less damage the more it hits.
Actually, the "more charges for a larger AOE" applies to both Thunder and Ice Spear, but damage will increase with more charges instead of decrease like the lightningbolt.

Fireball is a true AOE skill because you're not exactly attacking an enemy, but the area the enemy is standing on. That area will be blown up, all enemies in range will be hit.

The original target can actually run away before the fireball reaches to the point.

Btw, AOEing with Lightning Bolt would mean hitting monsters in the line of fire, or can i select more than two monsters, then cast?

One thing to note about AoE for Advance Spells is that Ice Spear and Thunder will cause ALL the monsters you hit to aggro you, so if you cant get away, you might be in trouble.

As for Fireball, ive used on a huge mob of Gargoyles... for some reason only 1 aggro'd me, might of been a bug or the fact i ran like crazy o_o

AoE is beautiful when the enemies are bunched together. I wipe out most anything with my Thunder.
