Why do Paladins and Dark Knights exist?
Im stuck on G1 currently
So I wouldn't know much of the details can someone tll me?

Paladins are knights of light, justice, blah blah blah. Somewhat like the Marines in comparison to a regular soldier. Intense training, generally better, etc etc.
Dark Knights use the darkness inside of you to activate the dark armor, which allows you to take control over the power of chaos. The armor has a mind of its own, and will drain your life away the moment you lose control of it (when your time runs out your health drops faster than you can say "wtf"). Theres really no "reason they exist". They just do. They're also the opposites of each other. Hence they fight. Paladins seek to bring justice to the lands, Dark Knights are out to... do whatever they want, I guess.

The Paladin guard of Emain Macha have added training and such. That is not the same as the Paladin players you see around.
Those paladins exist because they received the blessing of a god (Morrighan in this case) and a spirit, and have great combat skill as a man. Union of god, spirit, and man working together to make the Paladin warrior. Dark knights I don't know, but guessing Kitaek has that down right.
