So today in Tir square, I saw a Mabinogi Game Moderator and I was astonished. Wow, they must be strong, right? I heard they go around banning bots and whatnot, but they are also normal players like the rest of us. They also get special skills that we don't have. Has anybody seen any other GMs running around? This was my first time seeing one... and omg I love that hat on her head.

By the fact that it's a girl and has a purple name, I'm going to guess Saraphim.

Most of the GMs' time is spent undercover. They do minor things like ban bots and other ilk, and sometimes appear to answer peoples' questions/get attention.
Saraphim is commonly found in Ruairi. There's not really any safety issue with revealing her name.

Nah, the GMs can go on whatever server they want. I remember Argento and Saraphim...and one other one that was at Peaca Lobby when it first opened but I can't remember the name.

Not enough, since they also have to cover other Nexon games.

Unless they have like 10 more undercover GMs that we've never seen.

I see, so do you need to work for Nexon to become a GM or is there another way?

Actually, GM is a job, so its not a normal player at all.
They can have absolutely whatever they want on their character. They can also teleport between any maps they choose, they can stay invisible as well.

You MUST work at Nexon HQ in california if you want to be a GM. But these GM's don't work GM at all timse either. They're given several different jobs, like translation or Forum moderation, for example.

There really are no special benefits. You get paid. Maybe staff members have a discount on NX cash if they want to play regularly with their own personal accounts.

But GM accounts are for WORK ONLY, so they can't use it as they please and run dungeons with other players and what nots.

Being a GM is a job, not just some random player being luckily picked, you have to actually work for Nexon. You basically try to monitor and maintain the game and stuff like that

I think I remember reading that GMs are just like any other normal characters, or they get lots of gold or AP and stuff, dunno o_o, but they cant use it to dungeon with other people and stuff

This is why we're more likely to see a rare drop then see a GM.

Hmmm.. havent seen Saraphim yet, only Boogeyman... sux they havent removed Spirit of Order cap either... i wants my Holy Knight.
