"Fun" with nexon tickets-
I've been having a bit of a running battle with Nexon, regarding it's terrible customer support, and it's treatment of Mabinogi as a whole.
The bulk of the responses have been a variant of this~
"Greetings,
Thank you for reporting the issues you have found in game. We will forward the information to the appropriate department for review.
Sincerely,
-The Mabinogi Team-"
Henceforth known as "corporate response Number One".
The most 'amusing' application of this response, was regarding the 2+month old ticket discussing their server eating 1+million and items from my inventory.
It carried all the sincerity of a politicians handshake.
The few seemingly "live" responses have been filled with inane questions, that, if they had bothered to read the ticket thoroughly, would have been answered.
Things like "Have you updated your video drivers?" when I mentioned the problems I've been having with disconnects, or "what was the error code?" when I stated in the body of the ticket, "No error code was given, just a message- "the connection was terminated unexpectedly"- or something similar".
Apparently,"literacy" is not a required skill when applying to Nexon.
Their most recent tactic? "Auto closure". Submit a ticket, and it's closed within a second.
Great. Way to instill consumer confidence,Nexon.
I like the game, but Lawdy, Nexon NA is managing to make it un-fun.

Same with me.
I don't send in tickets anymore.

When the connection is terminated, it just means your internet upload/download was interrupted. Either by your computer, their servers, or your internet.
When your game automatically crashes without a warning, an error code, as the gm asked you, would be automatically copied on to your clipboard to be pasted into the ticket.
The GM probably misunderstood you.
In any case, if you hear "we will foward it to the appropriate..." then you know they're going to discard the ticket and never thinka bout it again.

I knew what they wanted,Kitaek, but there is no code generated when you get the boot to the login screen.
This comes after more than a dozen tickets, most of which had their GM's effectively blaming my "video card" for causing lag and connectivity issues on three different systems, over the course of three months.
If they did not give me 'corporate response number one' as a reply.
Utter nonsense. I have dealt with few businesses with customer service as laughably inept as Nexon's.

From my personal experience for mabi and maplestory, they always do discard it unless it involves you giving them money. Any players or bugs i report get "forwarded to the appropriate department". When i have a tech issue it gets a copy pasted reply that doesn't help at all.
So i gave up trying to help by reporting bugs or abusive players, and i look for technical help somewhere that i'll actually get it.

they say something to the tune of 'if you send in too many tickets we stop looking at them', which may explain the auto-closure phenomenon

Sending them the error code doesn't help, either. When, through a convoluted series of happenings, the pet AI editor crashed my client, I sent in the copy/pasted error code along with a detailed explanation of how I produced the critical error.
Nexon's response? "I'm sorry, <playername>, but you did not provide much information for me to be able to assist you with your situation." Then they proceeded to give me the rundown of generic usual suspects that had nothing to do with what caused the crash.

A near identical experience with mine. I gave them more than sufficient info to do a diagnosis, and in time, realized they were only interested in closing the ticket. Not fixing the glitch.
-I know Mecha. They have so many other important jobs to do, like Elvising it up in Tir, or banning those who do not worship their godly powers on bended knee.
Nexon must hire some of the most immature, and fragile ego'd persons on the planet to be GM's, judging solely by the actions I have witnessed in game.
