Personally, for my first 4 lives I rebirthed every 3 weeks after gaining at least 35 levels. This was kind of a mistake, because now at around level 225 my CP is high due to my advanced magic. This makes it very difficult to level my skills, even if I have lots of AP lying around from leveling. I think that for your first few lives (if you're going at such a high pace for rebirths) you should definitely plan out exactly what skills you're going to level first. I wouldn't focus on getting ALL of your combat skills to A, it's more important to get that windmill rank up NOW. With you rebirthing that fast you'll start having a lot of trouble ranking it. Personally, since I didn't think ahead enough to rank Windmill early on, I'm stuck ALREADY doing zombies to rank it. I'm going to have to down-train my other skills with skill reset pills, and that's incredibly slow too, since you're only guaranteed one per week. Sorry this post is kind of rambling on a bit, my point is; If you want to rebirth that fast, make sure you start training your hard to rank skills NOW. Don't wait, because if you do you may end up having an impossible time ranking your skills, even with tons of AP from fast rebirthing. The thread in the Guides Library of this forum called "Kotei's CP Charts" will help you understand what skills to avoid for now, and what to get later.

*Edit* I agree with blackmaged (posted while I was posting this) that you don't need to stick yourself to one single idea of a class. You should also pick up some utility skills like icebolt, firebolt and healing. These allow you to spell-counter, which will make soloing harder areas for faster xp much easier. Also, healing is incredibly useful to have regardless of whether or not you'll rank it up. If you ever get a pet you'll save tons of potions on healing them, and if one of your team mates happens to be deadly and running like hell, a bit of extra healing never hurts. Oh, and as for smash, you could literally rank it on rats even if your equivalent enemies are small golems. It has no related CP level requirements, so rank everything else first, but put the AP aside. It trains so fast that you could literally train it from rank F to rank 5 in one day if you wanted to. (I leveled mine from rank 9 to rank 5 in a single ciar-inter/1, actually.)

I see what you guys are saying about Windmill. I didn't really think about that until you mentioned it. My goal right now is to rank all my Combat Skills except Ranged to A, but then I haven't really decided what to do with the other 105 AP. I kinda want to raise some of my life skills like weaving, production mastery, and tailoring, maybe even cooking. I'm not a big fan of magic using and that's why I haven't done anything with it until now, except Enchant, which I wish I hadn't wasted the AP to learn now I suppose. But I'm mainly going for just being a warrior who has some life skills.

Edit: In games like this I like to have some average ability in everything, but I prefer combat stuff over everything else. And since I have to pay for the level ups, I'm picking and choosing the Life skills I want.

Also, how do you counter with Windmill?

Counterattack With Windmill - Easiest way is to aggro a mimic in Ciar Beginner, make it aggro you into a wall. When you're against a wall and you fall down, load WM and then that's a counterattack.

Search function's there for a reason.

Another thing about there being no classes: This is the best way to describe it.

Since I'm already asking questions about stuff, I have one more. Aside from the extra exp gain, is there any other negative gain to upgrading a skill before you have it perfect? I can't make the counter work.

No penalty at all, disregarding the inconsequential exp difference. It doesn't matter if it's perfect or not, and I would laugh if someone wanted to perfect train WM 2, or better yet, Crit 2.

I only started last month and I'm glad I ran into helpful sites like this before I dug a ditch for myself. I think that I have my skill management plan under control now. If you haven't already, rank all combat/magic related skills at least to rank F (except lightning bolt, I never use it) because the game definitely seems to favor multi-classing to a certain extent. I set out to be a pure archer at first, but I quickly found that magic-counters are pretty much the only reliable way to defeat most enemies. Hell, even healing has it's combat uses when fighting multi-aggro enemies for it's defense properties. Furthermore, rank 9 windmill (faster charge) is a must when you start encountering multi-aggroing enemies and rank 5 (increased range) will be favorable; even as my archer.

Don't bother with perfect training, waste of time. The experience gain is minuscule compared to the amount of time you have to spend.

Here's a good youtube "class" on making windmill counter work:

I'd like to say it again... if you're doing windmill DO IT FIRST. Rank A combat mastery will add a LOT of CP, and you'll have to fight significantly harder enemies to rank it up. It's ill-advised to get CM before windmill. (HP and STR both add a full CP per point. )
