Just wondering..it has to be a pride thing (and yes this took place last night before the patch).

me: I'll offer you 900k for the page if it doesn't sell before the patch. Thanks!

seller: If it doesn't sell it will expire.

me: Yes, that's why I'm offering you 900k (all I have currently).

seller: No thanks.

me: You'd rather let it expire than make 900k?

seller: yeah.

me: Ok, I hope you sell it, good luck!

900k is a decent amount. I would sell it for that much if it was about to expire.

I can understand why people would not want to sell it though.

I can totally understand that 900k is low..but this poor seller had it listed most the day, and with the patch coming up, it was pretty clear it was gonna be a no sale. Not like I was trying to screw him out of a page at a low price - I'm myself in no way to get through that dungeon yet, so I think the norm 1.5-2 million price is far more than reasonable.

But, I also know if I went through the hell to get it, and got nothing for it, I'd wanna strangle someone or something.

I was just surprised is all - I really do hope he found a buyer before the patch.

Personally i'd rather let it expire than let people think they can get away with waiting until there's little time left then send a note with low offers.
Not saying everyone would do that on purpose, but we all know that some people would, and i rather sacrifice 1.5 mil than be one of those who make people think they can do it.

Just want to remind you from the perspective of the "non-Mabi-experts" refusing to sell the things is really annoying, since it helps keep prices really high. Of course if you're a seller, you probably want to keep things that way, but for everyone else it seems pretty elitist that only the rich or the gold buyers can afford AR 8, without mentioning the wealth you accumulate.

Although I don't like seeing waste, I'm neutral on the issue personally, since I'm not getting AR yet and I'll hunt for my own pages when the time comes.

lol if it's a few minutes before patch I'd sell it. Or if the whole "don't want to let them get away with it" thing is bugging you I'd just give it to a friend *shrugs* I know quite a few people looking for it including myself xD.
