Some of it really annoys me while I like the others.. So I end up turning off the BGM entirely and miss out on listening to some good ones..
Blah..!
So during this downtime, I decided to change things into music I like.. and improve some areas too..
I ended up changing most of the major BGM's into ones from RO and some other random ones.
So far, I've changed the dungeon music in Rumba, Albey, Foidh, and the last floor, Dugald Aisle, Emain fields, Osna Sail, Sen Meg fields, Bangor, Dunbarton, and the boss theme for normal dungeons.
You can probably guess where I like to go and what songs I like from this.. sorta..
I accidentally erased the original Dungeon_7, whichever that was, while I was doing it though T.T
So how does everyone like the BGM in Mabi?

I replaced dungeon_1, dungeon_2, dungeon_3, whatever alby's was, and boss_1 so far. Got really annoyed at those fast. Thinking of replacing boss_2, it sounds somehwhat corny to me, haha.

Other then that, the other music is nice. It's soundtrack in general compared to other MMOs of the time, and even now is above average. Though, nowadays I'm getting slightly annoyed at Tir Chonaill's music...

Personally I like the dungeon music - I can't really do much without it, since it adds to the feel of the dungeons...

However, some of the field music irked me after a while.

I changed the town themes and other field themes to various celtic mp3s I had sitting on my computer... so for example, when I wander into Tir Chonaill this Celtic jig set on guitar starts up. Just guitar.

I felt that doing this added a slightly different atmosphere...

do i need to download the mabinogi client with the song files? i currently have the one without music files, but still wanna add music to certain towns... so can i just add the song files and change the names? right now i dont even know what is the file names for each town and dungeons called

I've kept the BGM as it is.

Aside from being too lazy to go in and actually pick music to replace it with, I don't mind the background music. I wouldn't mind putting on iTunes in the background occasionally (I did that in Ciar last night), but then I don't hear bard music properly. So, I jus stick with it. It's not a big deal.

I replaced the dunbarton field theme and the town theme, along with a few of the NPCs themes since i'm there so often. I love the BGM in general, but dunbarton is such a drab town that it can relaly use a little excitement now and then...

I have my sound off 90% of the time...though I'm not sure why. I like Elen's theme and Sen Mag field's, and some others that I don't remember atm. Dunbarton's not that bad. I haven't replaced any music, though I'm not really sure why.

I like all the Mabinogi BGM. I don't intent to change they anytime soon.
My favorite one is the Albey Dungeon ones... (Red Gem)

Replaced most my BGM from BGM from other games such as Touhou, PERSONA3, FFVII:CC, Gurren Lagann OST, Tales of the Abyss OST, and so on o_O

Tir Church Lady has Roxas' Theme from KH2 :3

I very much dislike the Outskirts of Emain and Tir itself. But most of the NPC's are appealing.
