What they did was right through. No reason given? You already know the reason. It was offensive.
As for the bot situation, how do you know that they don't do anything about it? Do you even realize how often those bot changes?
It isn't only Mabinogi that is filled with bots. It happens in most free-to-register MMORPGs.
Enforcing the rules is driving money away? LOL
If you don't like their ways of doing things, don't pay and/or don't play.

You explain how "hotglue" is offensive, and how nexon changing the name was "enforcing a rule".
To me "hotglue" is exactily what it sounds like. Will you be calling up craft shops demanding they remove all hotglue guns from their shelves next?
You and nexon appear to have your minds in the same gutter. Botting however is a massive violation of their TOS, but you just go "oh well it's a part of all MMORPG's" and give them free reign to utterly ignore the problem.
Yes, GM's deciding that their efforts are best spent in ignoring or rubber stamping tickets, making idiotic and nonsensical changes in guild and player names while failing to make a token effort to control botting is driving customers away.
If one of my employees acted like these GM's, they'd be invited to seek employment elsewhere.
