Surpassing our Neighbors: What we need to outclass the other Wikis
There are various features not present on any wiki I have seen. If we acquire these features, we can definitely draw players in!
1. Free Actions. These are things that do not require training. Sometimes you need a tool, but there is no associated skill.
This includes gathering eggs. Chopping wood. Gathering grain. Digging potatoes. etc. lists of these skills, needed tools, and your gained items for doing them should be included!
2. A Better Item Breakdown.
We need segments not only for Weapons and various armor slots, but also tools.
Other items need to subdivide down based on what they are used for! The list should be as exhaustive as possible, from the Fomor Scrolls to the Rusty Nails. Even if it sells for 0 and we don't know what it does, we should list it!
3. NPCs. No site has a well made list of NPCs. This should include shops, secret topics, and how to GIFT AN NPC which no one seems to know how to do as well as results of NPC gifting.
To Gift an NPC, drag a gift item out of your inventory and to the NPC you want to give it to (before you talk to them) and this will start a "Have a Gift!" conversation. Choose your gifts wisely.
4. Quests. No one has a complete quest Database. Let's get that filled up people! Find them first, complete it first!
5. Minigames. Cooking, Tailoring, Smithing, Fishing, and eventually Dyeing and Digging for fossils ALL have minigames!
DETAILS! Instructions! Screenies! Hints and tips! These should all be provided!
If we get them, we are the best!
6. Mabinogi Server History. The seals break only once. History happens only once. Let's record for posterity who achieved what, as soon as we know.
Add ideas to this thread please. And help out!

For your Idea #3, We should also have how certain gifts affect certain NPCs.
Now not to be the downer or anything but rather then posting ideas, you COULD gather this information yourself and you COULD post it in wiki or send it to me or someone on the wiki squad to post it for you. Just a thought ^_^.

Yep, I've already started adding what I personally know to the Wiki, but there's a lot I don't know.
There is an error in mabinogiWorld, for instance, that wrongly claims you recieve Party Performance with D-Rank Playing Skill and Music Theory.
Our wiki has the actual rule: You must have C-Rank in both to receive the technique, as far as I know.
I personally reached D-rank in both categories during Pre-OB, you see, and was not awarded the action.

We're still pretty far behind on most of the basics, skills, etc.
There's a long way to go before we can surpass the other wikis, IMO, but we'll get there eventually. I think eventually the amount of data on all the wikis will converge and the only substantial difference will be the way the data is presented -- organization and cleanliness is key.

Everything sounds good. All that was planned to be added sooner or later.
A Wiki is a page with ever possible information we can find, right? The most important part of the wiki is the organizers and the dedicated members.
Since the other wikis had such a long head start, it may take a while before the guru wiki catches up. Keep up the hard work~!

Ahhh, so that's how you "burn" items. I thought you had to do something with Enchant to do it -- part of leveling the skill requires you to obtain either magic powder or an enchant scroll from burning an item (if I translated the Google translation of the JP wiki correctly...)
