PokePoke is still learning the ropes
Default Should I restart work on the How to Learn Skill Page?

I started this wiki page as a way for me to get the information I wanted all in one place and also to track the progress of this wiki (as the missing skills pages were added, the broken links disappeared). However, I stopped working on it because I thought Mabinogi OB wouldn't be for a while and because I thought other wiki's already had all the information I wanted.

Now, I'm thinking of finishing what I started and adding a bunch of other stuff in addition. For example:
- requirements needed to learn skills (e.g. level to receive certain quests, stats such as int for reading books)
- which NPC teach keywords and which NPC will teach you a skill when you use a keyword
- how to learn magic skills

Collecting this sort of information is not easy work but I think it brings value to this wiki. What I want to find out from other people is:
a) Will this page still be used in the future? (i.e. will this information become obsolete once the skill pages are standardized and completed?)
b) Would anyone be willing to help me with this?

I think, eventually, the "Where to find Skills" page should be divided up and merged into the respective skills as a "Getting the Skill" section or whatever. Despite that, we still still need the information in the first place, regardless of where in the wiki it is.

So I'd say put it wherever you feel is best, we can always clean it up later.

As for the keywords, I don't think there's point enough to make a page-per-keyword, but we might consider making a page dedicated to "Where To Learn Keywords", such that each keyword has it's own section describing it, it's important uses and how to obtain it (ie, which NPC to talk to with which keyword) with #links to each other and stuff to make the page easier to jump around.

For collecting information, we can siphon information about learning skills from elsewhere pretty easily, but we might have to wait until Wednesday for the keywords and transcribe the notes directly from our experiences in-game :P

I'm planning on taking notes and screenshots (for the in-game descriptions) of all the keywords I encounter the next time I play, so I'll be more than happy to put that page together. And I've already kind of integrated some of the "how-to-gets" with the skill pages (on Magnum Shot, and something else I think), but etc, do what you think is best
