Tolinar Presents:
WAY TOO MUCH DETAIL
Start of Video
IOSYS, in keeping with its hard hitting rave stylings, uses simple vocal components together with heavy basslines and some great uptempo melody to produce an addicting song. They like to prove you can create incredible sound with very little to go on, so in Rag Mop fashion they just grabbed any old sound bytes and went to town!
This time, it happened to be some counting in various languages.
Lorna is performing voodoo, which explains the little dolls with pins.
Lorna is counting in various languages:
Chinese. English. Japanese.
German. (1, 2, Good morning)
Chinese (1, 2, 1, 2)
Japanese (1 1 1 1)
That's the perv face she is doing.
Devcat is in the corner of the splash screen.
Flashing on screen as lorna breaks her pole: Item durability has become zero and is no longer effective
Flying by in the background: These hexagons/Star of Davids were a better fit than the stars that accompanied the original video
Lorna is repeating "Dawn To"
The second frustrated comment refers to "suicide" which is an inside joke to many MMOs, characters will commit suicide when they are deleted by their owners for a restart or to quit the game permanently. Often players will joke about this without doing any of the above.
Shanghai, Shangai, Shanghai, Shanghai,
The four characters shown are suspected to be friends of the parody artist. The items are clearly from the game.
Horai, Horai, Horai, Horai,
Goblin, Goblin Archer, Poison Goblin, and a Goblin Trader NPC that buys holy water in a later Generation.
France, Holland, Tibet, and Kyoto,
Goblins in costumes.
London, Russia, Orleans.
Hellgate? The guy with blonde hair with a censored eyes is obviously a skirt of copyright... but I
don't know who he is.
The underscore caption shows the original lyric.
"A Riga Puu" has no special meaning - it's just the parodiers making fun of some muddy singing by the vocal artist.
In the original video, the character dreams of what she could be and gets flushed. Lorna has other ideas in this one.
The spraying of ?! represents IOSYS's frustration at both the bad singing and bad lyrics at this point, rooting in a bad translation and uneducated vocal artist. It might as well be gibberish.
The book in Lorna's hand is a reference to a couple of scenes where Lorna is equpping a book. You can in fact equip a book in Mabinogi, but it doesn't seem to accomplish a lot.
Pokemon reference.
Malcom playing a Mandolin.
Some G1 characters.
The screen that flashes for a moment is a trace back to an old RPG end-of-battle screen.
That was Ferghus that fell out of the air.
Sheep faced Malcom and G1 people on instruments.
The person here is the one who challenged Lorna in the arena. He is trying to talk to Lorna, but service announcements keep blocking his chat bubble.
Lorna ends the song in the Akuma posture, going for the black screen kill finish as Ferghus skates off into the sunset. It looks like she is slowly gaining on him . . .
The song ends before what most people consider the most annoying and unpleasant part of the original mix, a painful grinding sound >.<
