Kitae's Korean is a total mess, and at the level of a 3rd grader. However, a 3rd grader's level of Korean, a translator, a dictionary, and a brain with a minute dose of common sense is enough to be a manga translator!

While I was browsing through the Nexon site, I came across a 80 page "preview" of a manga. It was one of the few official Mabinogi manga books! Of course, being as poor as I am, I will never really buy the manga, but I can still read the first few chapters (80 full pages!)

I would have to be a jerk to keep this to myself, so from now on, I will translate ONE PAGE of the manga once a day. Disclaimer: I'm a very busy person with a ever-so-changing schedule, so this is not a promise but rather an empty statement with no guarantee backing it up.

Because I am not the best Korean speaker in the world, I will not be able to provide a 100% accurate translation. If anyone else was to attempt it, you would definitely read something different. I am also using a computer without any imaging programs, hence MS PAINT!

Not exactly. The first page covers information of the PAST of erinn.
The great sen mag war was the last of the battles between the fomors and the humans, and the goddess, in order to finally help lock the fomors away in another world, used all her magic.

The remnants of her in Erinn turned to stone (thus the goddess statues) watching over us as she gaurds the gateway from the human's world to the demon's (dungeons where fomors appear).

Thats the story of it, anyways.

Urgh, I think page 2 covers that though.

Manga originates from the word Manhwa, which actually means exactly the same thing, just in a different language.

The only reason Japanese manga is read from right to left is because thats how their books were always written (but you knew that).

So technically, original Manga would be read from left to right.

I prefer black and white as well. Should I just grayscale it? XD
I could flip it for you as well, lol (zelda for the wii lawl)

Anyways, page 2 is up. I butchered much of the translating, but it covers what was BASICALLY said (a certain someone I know will want to correct all the mistakes I made).
