@Paul: I did skip a few rooms and left alone a lot of mimics when I realized that I was going to have enough time to do a complete run. I killed all monsters in the first floor, though.

@final exile: I tried, and for the first half of its HP I could just smash it since it kept on using defense. It got tricky when the succubus got stuck walking back into a wall: I couldn't any normal attacks or smash it since it'd just hit me when I try. I didn't have firebolt to knock it back either so I just shot ice, ran, and shot ice again to refresh the aggro (which led to me running halfway back into the dungeon).

Don't ask why I'm hitting fountains. Running around while starving was a pain, though.

Make sure to level your pets as high as you can.
They'll rank their healing quite a bit, beyond rank 9 if you're good.

Thats a lot of hp you can have them heal you for.

Not only that, but their damage will be immense. Very useful.
