Its a the same mana cost for 5 charges for one normally... I wonder if you have to have an ego wand to chaincast :/

I doubt it. In one of the RP dungeon runs you do [with Mores] he has the ability as passive. Chaincasting is just something we'll get later on.

Chaicasting looks incredibly powerful, but righty now only egos can let us do it. What Mores has was the monster skill version of Chaincast, the skill that the ghosts in the library have. Now I'm not entirely sure that Egos are the only things to allow us to Chaincast, but fr now we can only wait and see.
Or we can look up the patches from MabiJapan or Korea. Either way the chance of chaincast being a seperate skill from the egos isn't looking good.

Ego's wand for sure get chaincast (or so I believe, have yet to see myself ._.) just not until Nexon decided to release it alone with the Incarnate skills. And we will never get the chain-cast as a skill only as upgrades for wands.
As for the mana cost it was recommended that Lightning wands get +1 Ice wands get +2 and Fire wands get +4 for the chaincasting (numbers may be off) while the other upgrade slots is used for mana reduction.

I wonder if there is some reason for that, if there is a difference in attack as well. I guess since only egos give us chaincast I can either get ice or lightning, since fire does enough damage for me. This can get a little tough to choose huh?
