yeah the monsters are pretty weak. Kitae has rank 1 lightningbolt, rank 1 firebolt and rank something ice. so those two go together.

yeah it drains your health when you're close to him
of course you wont die after he sucks your health below zero, BUT he keeps sucking health deeper into deadly so that sucks

If I remember correctly. I think his Lightning Bolt is either Rank 2 or 1. His Thunder I am not sure.

The quality of the video isn't that great, so let me try explain what happened in that video. As you see, me and Kitae kept a distance from the mobs for safety. The gold warrior (the boss) has a very nasty ability that allows him to completely drain life from players and enemies alike. When he casts this, he can not attack be targeted by attacks what so ever and if you are near by, you get drained. (I have seen Rank 1 Paladins and Dark Knights get killed by this boss in seconds from carelessness)

At the beginning of the video (not sure if you can see it fullscreen or not), we knocked the boss back until he used his life drain ability which unknowingly worked to our favor. When we noticed he drained the life of the surrounding enemies, Kitae decided to take initiative and knocked them all out with Lightning Bolt. I tried to follow up with a firebolt, but got hit by the life drain. Afterwards, we just alternated with Firebolts until Kitae decided to use Thunder which made quick work of him.

The boss isn't exactly tough at all.
At best his attacks will do about 10 to 20 damage, which would be 1 in my case with all the defense I have.

His health drain is really the only problem. When I saw the other warriors next to him, I said "great, more mobs"... but the boss took care of them quickly. I laughed pretty hard when I saw them being drained. A multicharged lightning bolt took them out.

My thunder was only rank B, but the boss was STRONG, so its a good chance to train it, right? I don't really train thunder, but with the overflow of AP I've been getting I figured I'd get it to at least rank 9.

Oh, and because this boss is a total wuss, I tried again with another friend and my giant mule.

Unfortunately, little did we know, this guy can actually transmute golems too. That made the fight about ten times harder.

His bombs make melee fighting pretty difficult.

Heh. This boss is totally not worth me going out seriously DX

I should give khenta my ice wand so we can combo magic.
