Wow now that definetly says that I need at least rank 5+ smash that splash damage could become very helpful but then again in multi aggro situations could be very detrimental so I guess it should be coupled with high rank windmill to avoid that.

Just to tell you that guy's Claymore is probably upgraded to it's max (with gems) and that's huge splash range. I have an upgraded claymore (no gems) with 1 splash range upgrade, with rank 1 smash and my splash range isn't NEARLY at much as that. For mine, they have to be right next or on the monster to splash.

Also, the splash damage for smash isn't all to great, and can sometimes be a hassle. I dont remember the % well (correct me if I'm wrong), but the splash for rank 5~2 was like 5% and then at rank 1 it's 10%. in order to do good splash damage, you need to be really strong and have a good weapon. the other annoyance of splash damage is if one of them is countering, you attack that counter. I've died by that alot. > >

as long as its possible to do that kinda splash then thats enough
to keep hoping to reach that splash range one day for most people =)

Personally, I wouldn't even go for the Splash. I would keep it at Rank 6 to keep it from doing Splash Damage then have Windmill for crowd control which seems more effective.

Smash splash isn't very good...
Its sometimes a life saver, but I've seen it kill more than save.

Magnum splash, now thats good stuff.

Also,I think the second song's from Golden Sun. >_> And that the sword the guy's using is one that isn't out yet for us.Probably some kind of katana or whatever.
