Since I noticed a lack of elf videos I post this one
basically he was trying to sog in the video but thats not the point
this is just to show how fast a elf can load a range attack
(elf range attack load time is the same from rank F to rank 1
always 0.3 seconds)

The downside of a high rank Arrow Revolver is that it takes long to prepare and it costs a lot more stamina.

The downside of ranged mastery for elves is that it takes longer to aim.

Honestly said though, the aim rate is very close. So it really depends...
I guess precharging 5 arrows can give you the edge... then again, being able to reload so fast can too.

My bet is "whoever hits first wins".
Unless other player has assault.

That is some insane speed...
But 5 arrow shots = 1.5 seconds total load.

AR1 = 1 second to load 5 arrows.

Like Kitaek said, both are very close in terms of speed indeed. First one to hit will have major advantage. o.o

After doing some research on both elf and human humans actually cost more
for range skills than elf in money and ap

human have to spend 155 ap for rank 1 range attack
214 ap for rank 1 arrow revolver
200 ap for rank 1 magnum

total ap : 569 ap

elf have to spend 247 ap for rank 1 range attack
203 ap for rank 1 magnum

total ap : 450 ap

so in the end humans actually spend more ap than elf. They also cost more
since they have to do quest for Arrow revolver while a elf comes with range
attack and magnum. They are really similar the only thing I see as a real advantage
for elves is they constantly shoot their arrows at 0.3 seconds while a human
after shooting all 5 arrows of Arrow revolver would have a 1 second wait time after
at rank 1 so thats the humans only weakness but not many people can survive all
5 shots of arrow revolver so in the end their similar and it does come down to who hits first.

you left out mirage missile for elves which would make there total ap used higher
arrow revovler is the human archer specialty skill
mirage missile is the elf archer specialty skill

Don't forget that humans' power depends on diversity. Humans can do everything skillwise, but they aren't experts in anything.

(Like giant is really good at melee, and elves are supposed to be really good at range)

Not to mention that by the time elves are out, there will be quite a few of humans that probably already got r1 of those skills. =/

Mirage missile not used much its not key skill while humans use AR
alot to the point that AR replaces range attack for them while Mirage missile
is not needed probably only used when you want to poison a monster with arrow PD to make things a bit easier

@EndlessDreams yep thats true but once elves starting getting high rank skills
they start to becoming really powerful

Same applies to human and giants. (And future races)
Rarely is a high rank skill not powerful... >_>

So, how do elves clear rooms really fast if it is one target at a time (or a small cluster with Magnum Shot)? Humans/Giant both can use windmill with dual wield or 2-handers. o_O

hmm thats a good question probably when their magnum is high enough
rank they can just use the splash that magnum gives at rank 5+ or they can use transform and use Elven Magic Missile I would also say they could use final shot
kill each monster with zero shot and teleport to next one to zero shot it but the cooldown...


edit: well you can have rank 1 windmill and use it with a bow later and the damage would
be .....lets just say dont expect to kill anything with it

(based on bare hand damage later)
