Default Question about Composing

Hey everyone!
I can compose generally easy music, with my rank E Music Theory. My question is how do you write parts with more than one note playing at the same time like a chord? I've heard so many songs like that (obviously) but I could never figure out how to write it.

Anybody? Anybody at all?

I'm not really quite sure what you're asking.

If you want to play more than one note at the same time, you match up the Chord1 and Chord2 lines with the Melody line so it plays at the same time.

For example, if I want to compose this:

...I would put this in the Melody line:

cdefgab>c

...and this in the Chord1 line:

efgab>cde

It's easier to compose if you view your composition visually. You can use the MML editors (3ML Editor and Maki-Mabi's Sequencer), midi editors, physically write notes on staff sheets and sequence it on the computer, etc.

I do that, but when I try, say "ceg" and "dfa" It just plays like "cegdfa"

The composer on the mabinogi site is faulty. It's not really advised to use it if you want to create songs. It will play properly if you type your ceg and dfa in game though, so if you're good at listening to two parts seperately you don't have to do the reccommended, which is to download 3ML here.
