Yeah, I agree that having other people play your MML feels like an acomplishment it only sucks if people claim it as their own. but once again, I love the song

Whats worse is that they tends to sell it to someone else for money, I often see this happen in game. When it does, I usually say don't sell something that doesn't belong to you. But they say well I composed part of it and ignores me >.< well I guess thats just the way it is.

Yeah, you can't really do too much about it. But I don't really care if someone else claims it as thier own, as long as it brings them happiness. I will always know that I composed it, and that's all that matters if it brings someone else joy. BTW, this is the only thing I'm selfless with, as music should be enjoyed by all. It should be shared by everyone. Give the gift of music, dammit! >:0

Yeah that is pretty bad, and if they say the composed part of it then why don't they just compose their own instead of selling ours =x But hey, it's all good at least we know we really made it Feel bad for the people who buy it and could get it for free somewhere else. and if they really did compose part of it but not the whole thing than their part probably sucks if it was someone else's original. xD

I have the same problem, in CB some guy tried to sell me my own song(Traverse Town). I wish this game had open pvp right then, I would of beat him to death with that score.

It's kinda funny that he's dumb enough to try and sell you your own scroll though... doesn't even realize where he got it from. Yet tries to claim it as his own to make a profit, and its not even a hard connection to make that you're the person that wrote the song. Oh well.. That's the internet I guess.

Yea it was. The day before I gave him a scroll because he did the whole whimper trick and I didn't need it so I gave it to him. Next day he's trying to sell it by the Grocery Store where all the 'newb' musicians play and go deaf.

what I'm gonna do is I will just pass around scores that is hidden coded. So everyone can enjoy playing it while no one will steal it and claim it as their own. If they want to compose it again based on what they heard, I would consider this as their own work and would congratulate them for that.
