There aren't any specific pets for specific jobs.

Horses, Chests, Eagles, Brooms, etc you ride, crows and hawks get you items once in a while, a wolf man transforms & many more. You choose the characteristic you like best, and that's your pet.

and pets don't die of old age. they die just like a character, and can be ressed with a phoenix feather
