some other pet questions
1. what do pets eat? normal food or is there special food for... dogs (for example)
2. so they can rebirth... does that mean they grow bigger???
3. if i have my pet in "support attack" wouldn't that kinda screw my fighting sequence really bad?
4. does the pets have the necessary AI to atk by itself (like smash when enemy defends, etc.) or will it keep normal hitting the enemy?

1. Pretty much anything... but there is pet food i believe
2. pretty sure as they age up they grow bigger.
3.if you sync it with your pet it's not bad... but your pet does draw aggro though.
4.Pet has no sharpmind... it will use skills at random >_> (watches it die over and over again in runda)

Pet's skill gain is based on accumulated levels. In other word, rebirthing would give it an easier time to level, allowing to have higher rank skills that much faster. (wolf goes to 40, RB to 1, and then go to 40 again. R6 Counter so nice <3)

I assume that pets has only the standard model, hence no change.

Since id rather not make a new thread either, let me ask my questions as well.
1. Is there a specific way for pets to get exp? Such as, do they have to hit the monster before it dies at least once? or be near it when it dies? I noticed that my pets dont always get exp after i killed something... And yes, none of them are "Weak" or "Weaker".
2. Are the magic bolts bugged or do pets just not want to cast them when you tell them to such as "LB!" or "Lightingbolt!"? Awkwardly, they use Heal when told to though...
3. Do pets rank up skills in a certain order is it completely random and they rank it as soon as they can?
4. When rebirthing, do we require the same pet card? such as to rebirth a Gray Wolf, we need another Gray Wolf animal card? Just wondering cause i saw that Kita said the Fox, Wolf and one of the Cats are a Limited Time Offer, so they wont be able to be reborn'd after?
5. Seeing as how pets can eat food, will they gain Temp/Perm stats from food such as perm Dex from Berries or temp Str from BnR?

They only can cast the magics if they've learned them, wolves don't have heal, I believe. I tried casting Ice Bolt, but my pet didn't do it. This was because she hadn't learned it.

Wouldn't sitting for 33 minutes in your school's Sweatshirt while eating soup from a thermos during a critical wind warning in the gym make you look like a hobo?

This may not specifically answer all of your questions, but I think it'll help to clear some things up. All credits go to Kotei of Mabinogi World for this compilation. I'm quoting his list here rather than linking to the post, which may require logging in to view.

Wolves do have healing and lightning.
As far as what they eat anything, but I cook pet food so my pets are well feed.
Fell free to order some pet foods for your pets.
