Is there a technique you can use to kill an imp effectively without dying? Cause I usually die whenever I try to kill it.

Attack attack attack run then when he's charging magic charge urs and strike him then attack attack run repeat.

N+1 and then smash or you can just icebolt them to death.

N+1 with a weapon for a first attack, i dont recommend using 2h swords on them, imps are fast o_O

make sure you have your sound on so you can tell if thier using lighting bolt or not,

id reccomend just using magic counter and normal attack when they use lighting bolt... but once they cast lighting bolt on you, chances are your screwed unless a party member helps..

i was in a party with Batsu and well.. i was already dead... messed up.. 2 other guys were getting ores.. he got hit by its lighting bolt, and fell and then it, the imp, casted and used again over and over o_O

Imps make me curl up in a corner in the fetal position praying to some god in hopes that they won't smell my fear.

I killed an Imp once, single handedly, out of shear will to survive. After it zapped me I charged an ice bolt and made it flinch. While it charged it's next bolt I ran up to it with my dagger wishing that chance and circumstance would favor me with criticals. As it slid back I charged another bolt and repeated the process untill it died. I alt+F4'd out so I could recover the 3/4 of my hp that single bolt took.

I use ice bolt till it die and hit it normaly ^^

In barri dungeon there's sometimes a spawn where the doors are open and i lure em. Charge up icebolt (if you don't have it get it its really useful even at rank F) then shoot once and run around the corner and wait then shoot and when its far enough back charge again and repeat. IMP OWNAGE

Yeah, those little imps are little *cough*...Even with me blasting Ice and my fiance wailing on it, it's hard. Fire seems to be a bit more effective than Ice though, so I'm trying to get that. Now if they're Banner Imps...those suckers are easy to kill just by wailing on them, but regular imps...UGH please don't let more than one see us in the corner. XDD

I use firebolt (Fullcharge) hit it a couple of times recharge fire (1 bolt) and i keep on doin that o.o.
