Sometimes when u have counter on and locked in his ground pound doesn't hit u. Like there were a few instances in my fight w him in which i'd firebolt, throw counter on, and he'd ground pound but not touch me. Sometimes it still does hit tho even tho u have counter on, so i dunno if its a legit tactic or not it may just be random luck.


If u want an assured victory bring a friend w you as backup, make sure he has some phoenix feathers and have him stand to the side and revive u every/anytime you die. Eventually u'll be able to take him down.


Its kind of a gay way to kill him but at least u complete the quest and get the title. (which sucks btw)

This might help. I found Fire counter work better on bear, and ice counter work better on wolf. dunno I might be just me.

The most annoying thing about ogre is his ground smash att.
very fast load time. is hard to dodge.
