should I get windmill from the beginning of character training or should i get combat mastery to a decent lvl (maybe rank 9 or so) before I still training windmill? also when should i put in points for critical hit?
This is to my preference which I've obtained from hearing from others...
Combat Mastery B should be enough to start with...especially when you are wearing equipment enchanted with Giant that requires rank B.
Rank Windmill as soon as possible IF you desire it. It's very useful and the stat boosts from it are great with +str and +will each rank. If you want to do it later on it'll be much more difficult. Later on would depend on what skills you get that increase your power level. If you search around the forum, Kitaek27 has a thread describing power level. All I remember from it was that Defense gives you a lot of it so try avoiding Defense as of now.
Do you plan to get rank 1? If so, start working on Windmill as early as possible. In addition, if you plan to train other skills, do not train these following skills past:
Combat Mastery - B
Smash - 9
Critical Hit - 6
Ranged Mastery - A
Magic Mastery - B
Fireball - E
Thunder - E
Magnum Shot - 9
Defense - D
This is because starting Rank 4 Windmill, the requirements are intense and camping Tir Na Nog and fighting Zombies will be necessary. In order to be able to train your Windmill at Zombies, their strength has to be "Boss" level to you. If you train any of the above skills higher than the stated rank, then your power level will rise and Zombies will drop to "Awful" level long before you reach Rank 1 and that will make Windmill impossibly hard to train.

Wait a minute, I never heard of it with this much detail...why zombies? Won't it be alright if I just keep dungeoning?
Zombies if you want Rank 1 Windmill immediately. At Rank 4, you need to kill 450 "Boss" monsters as well as 3100 "Strong"/"Awful" and fulfill the attacking multiple targets requirements just to have enough proficiency for rank up. So I guess Rank 4, you can do in the dungeons.
However, starting Rank 3, the requirements ask for 1500 "Boss" monsters and 1300 "strong"/"awful" monsters. At Rank 2, it asks for 2000 "Boss" monsters. You can do all of this in the dungeons, but I assure you it will be very lengthy and boring. Sure I guess it will be boring doing this in Tir Na Nog, but its quicker so you won't be as bored.
As your Windmill rank is higher, so is your power level. Finding "Boss" type monsters in common dungeons like Ciar Intermediate won't be easy especially during Rank 3 and Rank 2.
In fact, at Rank 2 Windmill and a certain age and level, you are at the borderline between Zombies being a "Boss" and "Awful" monster.

Does this mean I can train all of these to the said levels and still train on zombies, or only one of them? Have rank 7 windmill tonight, maybe 6...want to know how much AP I can put into other things without screwing myself for maxing windmill. Right now, only windmill and crit are above F (crit at D).

You can have all those and still be able to train on Zombies, as long as none of them are above the stated rank.
Advanced magic and defense raises your power level immensely.
So I can assume since I plan on training very few of those that I can bring Production Mastery up as high as I want for the added stam? Low stam is driving me up the wall -_-
