I don't remember the upgrades for broad right off the top of my head.
The CORRECT broad upgrade that makes it the best one handed weapon actually demands a bit of dex to back it up. It has around 30~40% balance, I can't remember, and is like (not exact number) 0~90 min max damage on the weapon. With enough dex, you can really do 90 max every time, which would be a LOT of damage combined with your character's strength. For a character like mine, however, I'd probably do like 0 each tmie because I have no dex. I just choose to use high crit daggers or just use a kite shield.
