If I know my gargoyle AI as well as I think I do... that only safely works when there's a
single gargoyle attacking a group. As soon as you get two or more gargs attacking a group in formation like that, it's more a death sentence than a strategy. One slip up and the whole party takes splash damage.
Ice/Counter, Fire/Counter techniques work just fine if everyone has their own target; the trick is judging your distance and response when the gargoyles charge icebolt. But I won't get too in detail on that... the topic of gargoyle fighting has been addressed many times already on this forum.
As for any other tips... definitely make sure to try to recruit your party members well in advance if possible. There's little that is worse than waiting around a dungeon lobby hoping that a willing player will happen by to join you, especially in a region as isolated as TNN.
