Is there some kind of switch, that you can turn off.. just so people cant view your equipment?

Coz I noticed (while right clicking), some players you can fully view their gear and some of them you simply can't. Is there some kind of preference or condition we have to meet to do this?

Go to the Mabinogi Celtic Sign below the screen or press the windows button on the keyboard if you have one > options > game > etc > then uncheck show equipment.

I still dont get why people hide their equipment, I mean ppl who do that normally have good equips, how do they show off if they hide it X_x

I think its because some people like to keep their style a secret. They dont want others to copy their look, especially when it does look really good and unique.

There are other ways to show off that you have good equipments...
Like doing extremely well in combat. >_>

Also, not everyone likes to show off their equipment. It usually have an indication on how rich (or capable of going dungeon) a person is.

I keep my equipment hidden because i kept getting annoyed back in the day where there were only a handful of holy moon armor users out there, every noob left and right asking me where i got it, how much, and if i was willing to sell it to them for ridiculous discounts.
I enjoyed the privacy of having my equipment hidden, so i kept it until now, and will continue to keep it so long as i play this game.

That's odd, I check equip just so I won't have to ask what it is and where they got it, if I can't see then I either have to shrug it off... or ask. If I can see, then I can get the name and look it up myself.

Sounds to me like if you're tired of being asked, you should keep the option on and direct people to it, not turn it off so they have no choice but to ask.
