Firebolt is a MUST for soloing mobs with magic PD.
Its not always the case, but its the number one way to go against mobs like ogres or ever tough monsters like ghosts.

Alternative to Ogres would be arrow revolver, if your archer doesn't miss often. They don't have a neutral barrier.
